Gerda Zala-Zaloksne, Founder
Gerda grew up in a small village in the Latvian countryside. She earned a hospitality degree in the capital city of Riga and then relocated to the UK in her early twenties. Gerda worked for several global companies in London, gaining a decade of corporate and private event planning experience (including holiday parties, sales kickoffs, team-building activities, executive dining and celebrity speakers). She also travelled to Las Vegas, Geneva and Los Angeles to organize and attend international conferences.
Recently, Gerda relocated to Miami and took action to further expand and develop her skill set in the field. She is now certified in both Event Planning & Event Decor by the QC Event School. This motivated Gerda to strike out on her own and launch The GERDA GROUP.
